Hello everyone, today I want to talk
of Williams syndrome.
Williams syndrome (WAS) is a neurobehavioral disorder congenital. It's not '¨ hereditary and not' ¨ caused by medical factors, environmental or psychosocial but rather represents "a chance". And 'quite rare, occurring once every 20,000 births. The syndrome affects several areas of development including cognitive, behavioral and motor. About
motor development, children normally begin to Williams walking in late. This 'and ˛' ¨ often due to a combination of factors such as coordination, balance and strength. For the same reason, children also tend to have difficulties 'in motility' end from the first months of life.
From a cognitive point of view there is a strong diversification between individuals. Some children show levels of average intelligence or slightly below the average difficulty associative 'learning.
